My First Arduino

從小就愛玩電子的東西, 走入軟體業後, 就一直處於看看階段, 偶而手癢弄一點點小東西.

以前, 要玩單晶片的東西, 需要的設備不少, 要投資的錢也不少.

自從 Raspberry Pi, Arduino 出現後, 這一切都改變了, 要玩這種單晶片的東西, 門檻已經降低很多.

最近, Raspberry Pi 更出了一片 Zero 板子, 只要 5 美元, 不開始來玩從小到大夢想的電子東西, 是會對不起自己的~

 底下, 是我第一個 Arduino Uno~ Ya! 愛電子的 Bubble 又回來了~

在 Try 第一個 Sample 時, 碰到一個問題

Arduino IDE error - avrdude: ser_open(): can't open device "/dev/ttyACM0": Permission denied

參考這個 link 解決了.

If you run Arduino IDE on Ubuntu (Arduino 1.5.7 and Ubuntu 14.04 in my case), most possibly you cannot upload to Arduino board, caused by the error of: avrdude: ser_open(): can't open device "/dev/ttyACM0": Permission denied ioctl("TIOCMGET"): Inappropriate ioctl for device To fix it, enter the command: $ sudo usermod -a -G dialout <username> $ sudo chmod a+rw /dev/ttyACM0 Where <username> is your user name in Ubuntu, /dev/ttyACM0 is the detected device of your Arduino board.

Android - My First Android App

It is a Container Tracking System for my company.  User can input MBL, HBL or Container number to track the status of shipment. The major part is a Web Service named TopMWS behind the theme.  Android is only a Web Service client. 

Anyway, this is my first Android App. Ya!
